- Just after the initial PC startup screen and just before the “Starting Windows” screen appears, press the F8 key (you may want to press F8 several times to be sure). You should see a screen that looks like the image below. If you miss it and Windows boots normally, re-boot your computer and try again.
2. Use the ↑ and ↓ keys on your keyboard to navigate to the “Safe Mode with Networking” choice. Press the “Enter” key to begin the safe mode boot up process.
3. Return to this page after your computer has booted into “Safe Mode with Networking“‘ – then click the button below:
This will initiate the download and installation of Spyware Doctor. Once it is finished installing, Spyware Doctor will automatically begin to scan your computer using its Intelliscan technology. When the scan is complete, click the “Fix Checked” button to allow Spyware Doctor to completely remove System Tool.
**After this process is complete it is always a good idea to do a second scan of your computer. To do this, re-boot your computer again, enter Windows normally this time and run another scan with Spyware Doctor.

What is System Tool?
System Tool is what is known as rogue spyware or ransomware which means it claims to be legitimate security software but it is actually spyware itself.
